As a mother who lost their kid violently, I can only imagine what the parents are feeling. Life is unpredictable and a lot like a jungle. You're growing up to learn how to socialize, survive and excel. Shanquella was allegedly killed by her friends on a trip to Cabo, Mexico.

Growing in life can come with its perks. But, growing in life can also come with envy, jealousy and losing your life. It is very important to be careful of the company you keep, as our parents always told us. Sadly, Shanquella became a victim. She let her guards down and opened up to people whom she believed to be her friends. FRIEND is a powerful gesture. I know this all too well growing up as a kid. We're writing to express our sympathy and condolences to her family. We hope that all parties involved get what they deserve because no human being deserves to be treated inhumane.
